Phong Ngo, PhD, F-ABC
Dr. Phong Ngo is an Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas Wesleyan University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Sam Houston State University. He then earned a Master of Science degree from Sam Houston State University in Chemistry and his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Auburn University in Chemistry (Biochemistry). He served as a Forensic Scientist at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences (Alabama State Crime Lab). He also holds memberships with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, American Academy of the Forensic Sciences and the American Chemical Society. He is board-certified as a Fellow of Comprehensive Criminalistics by the American Board of Criminalistics and in Effective Teaching Practice Framework by the Association of College and University Educators/American Council on Education.
